National Information Evaluation Center
Important Events Record
· On Jul. 24th 2001, the
meeting of National Informatization
Index Work held in Beijing Western Hotel which
was presided by Minister Hu Jichuan .National Information
Evaluation Center (NIEC) was founded and Mrs. Song
Ling occupied the position of director who is also
the director of National Informatization Promoting
Department.
· On Mar. 19th 2002,
NIEC announced Evaluated Results
of National Informatization Index in Beijing
and announced National Informatization Level Research
Report in which the concept of National Informatization
Quality (NIQ) was introduced firstly at the same time.
· On Jun 11th 2002,
National Informatization Level
Forum initiated by NIEC in Beijing on which
the related leaders in State Department Informatization
Office attended.
· On Oct 9th 2002,
China Enterprises Informatization
Efficiency Index System was released by NIEC
in Beijing which made the demand of “Building Efficiency
Informatization” as the formation of evaluation index
into reality for the first time. On the meeting, the
14 enterprises including Lenovo, Sinopec Corp, Digital
China, HP, Oracle, Haier, CNC etc. suggested together
to guide informatization construction by Efficiency
Index and issue the proposal on paper, “We Act Together
to Build Efficient Informatization”.
· From Jun 19th to
Jun 20th, National Manufacturing Informatization Project
Collaborate Group had a meeting in Beijing to announced
Manufacturing Informatization Quality Formed Project
and Data Mining System created by NIEC. The statistic
work of manufacturing informatization began in China
at the first time which is the part of 863 task, Manufacturing
Informatization Quality Plan and Evaluation Implementation
Research, undertook by NIEC.
· On Apr 8th 2003,iPower
500 in China Research initiated by NIEC and Network
Weekly Issue began to operate and news release conference
held in Beijing.
· On Jun 18th 2003,
National Manufacturing Informatization Project Collaborate
Group and NIEC held the meeting on China Manufacturing
Informatization Quality Issue together on which China
Manufacturing Informatization Quality from
2001 to 2002 was issued. Such is the first time that
the government put the performing information of national
important informatization projects into evaluation
in quantity and released in public.
· On Nov 10th 2003,
NIEC held iPower 500 in China
Award Celebration of 2003 in Beijing and released
“iPower 500 in China Research Report”.
· From May 12th to
May 13th 2004, National Manufacturing Informatization
Quality Statistic Working Meeting held in Kunming
and the working of it in 2004 began entirely.
· On Jul 15th 2004, NIEC held news release conference
in Beijing and issued the list of the First Bench
Bar Enterprises of Informatization
Bench Bar Project in China.
· In September 2004, iPower 500
in China Research of 2004 began formally.
· In November 2004, National Manufacturing Informatization
Quality research and evaluation finished and more
than 3300 enterprises took part in it.
· On Jun 15th 2005, NIEC held iPower
500 in China Award Celebration of 2004 in Beijing
and released “iPower 500 in China Research Report”.
